DISCOVERY CRUISE ON THE NILE FROM ASWAN TO LUXOR

Day 1:

Friday: Arrival in Aswan and trip on the Nile
A guide will pick you up to discover Aswan.
Visit the Temple of Philae dedicated to the goddess Isis and Trajan's cosmos on the island of Isis.
Explore the High Dam and Lake Nasser , the largest man-made lake.
You will then be accompanied to embark to begin your cruise on the Nile.

Lunch will be served on board.
In the afternoon you will sail around the islands of Aswan towards Kom Ombo before dinner and spending your first night on board.


Day 2:

Saturday: Kom Ombo Temple and sailing to Jebel Silsila.

After breakfast, explore the temple of Kom Ombo , dedicated to the Greek-era gods Sobek and Haroeris.
Return to the boat for lunch, which you will enjoy while sailing north towards Luxor.
Then stop for a relaxing visit to Jebel Silsila Temple (Jabal al-Silsilah) .
Dinner may be served inside the floodlit Temple of Hermoheb , depending on weather and wind conditions, or on the upper deck.

Day 3:

Sunday: Temple of Edfu and sailing with farewell dinner in Esna.

Breakfast on board before boarding a horse-drawn carriage to explore the town of Edfu and visiting its temple dedicated to the falcon god Horus.
The return to the boat is by horse-drawn carriage.
Then sail to Esna and have lunch on board.

Relax on deck while admiring the breathtaking views of the Nile.
For dinner, enjoy an Egyptian evening with local cuisine, music and entertainment.

Day 4:

Luxor Sightseeing and Disembarkation

Breakfast on board the Dhabiya boat and disembarkation on the Nile.
Visit the West Bank of Luxor, including the Valley of the Kings with three royal tombs of ancient pharaohs, then the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahri and admire the statues of Memnon.
You will then be accompanied to the east bank to visit the temples of Karnak in Luxor.

Your journey is coming to an end.

It is time for transfer to Luxor airport for your return flight or to your hotel, depending on flight schedules.
